This policy explains what Eliciv Private Limited collects when you use Eliciv, how we use it and the choices you have. It covers both the data you give us directly and the customer conversations Eliciv processes on your behalf.
Our two roles
Eliciv handles data in two distinct capacities. For information about your own account and use of our website, Eliciv Private Limited acts as the controller. For the customer conversations, contacts and records you bring into your workspace, we act as a processor, handling that data only on your instructions and on your behalf.
What we collect
- Account details you provide, such as your name, work email, company and team size.
- Content you or your customers send into a connected workspace, including emails, chat messages, form submissions and attachments.
- Usage and device information generated when you interact with the product and website, used to keep the service reliable and secure.
- Messages you send us through our contact and signup forms.
How we use data
We use the data we collect to:
- Provide the Eliciv service, including reading, summarising and drafting replies to the conversations in your workspace.
- Create and manage your account and deliver your login credentials.
- Keep the service secure, diagnose problems and prevent abuse.
- Respond to your enquiries and provide support.
Conversations and AI
Eliciv uses AI to read and act on the conversations in your workspace. We do not use your customer conversations to train models that are shared with other organisations. The understanding Eliciv builds from your data stays within your workspace and works for you alone.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the service providers that help us run Eliciv, such as infrastructure and email delivery partners, under agreements that require them to protect it, or where we are required to by law.
Retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Workspace content is retained according to your settings and instructions, and is deleted on request or after your account closes, subject to any legal obligations we must meet.
Security
We protect data with encryption in transit and at rest, strict access controls and continuous monitoring. You can read more on our security page about how we safeguard the conversations you trust us with.
Your rights
Depending on where you are based, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Where we act as a processor for your workspace, we support you in responding to requests from your own customers.
